COVID-19 Updates

Covid-19 Update

The Health, Safety, and Well-Being of Our Residents and Staff Have Always Been Our Top Priority.

Below are some of the ways we are keeping our community safe and engaged.

Heightened Safety Practices

Heightened Safety Practices

  •  Restricted visitation of all visitors and non-essential health care personnel, except for end-of-life situations.
  •  Reviewed and revised how we interact with vendors and delivery drivers, EMS personnel and equipment, transportation providers, and other non-healthcare providers.
  •  All visitors must complete a wellness screening questionnaire and have their temperature taken prior to their visit.
  •  Screening and taking temperatures of those who need to enter our community, such as third-party caregivers and other healthcare professionals.
  •  Frequently disinfecting high-touch areas like doorknobs, elevator buttons, faucets, and handrails with CDC approved antibacterial/germicidal cleaning materials and electrostatic foggers.
  •  Increased cleaning of high-traffic common areas such as dining rooms and activity spaces.
  •  Deep-clean and sanitize apartments prior to a new resident moving in.
  •  All residents are monitored for symptoms daily and symptoms will be immediately reported to the nurse.
  •  Communal dining adjusted to meal deliveries and/or small group dining special events per state guidelines. Exceptions will be made for residents in need of staff assistance or supervision during meals. Social distancing is maintained when the dining room is in use.
  •  Telemedicine visits will be offered by visiting physicians for routine visits. Physicians are considered essential visitors and will be allowed to visit the community as needed.
  •  Required mask and other PPE use for all staff and cloth face coverings for residents, as tolerated. Masks and other PPE materials are available in the community.
  •  Required physical distancing, maintaining a distance of at least six feet from others (except in the cases of caregiving that requires closer contact with residents) for all staff and residents.
  •  Required frequent hand washing or disinfecting by all staff and residents. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the communities for visitors and employees.
  •  Monitoring staff for fever, symptoms, and potential exposure on every shift (includes active temperature screening).
  •  We continuously educate employees and residents on proper hygiene and safety measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
